Healthyfeetstore.com was born due to a shortage of quality orthopedic shoe stores. Dr. Hurless would prescribe custom orthotics for his patients but had an ongoing problem on where to send his patients for shoes that would fit the custom orthotics. He spoke about this problem with his wife Jennifer, who subsequently recruited her family to solve this unmet need. In 2003, Healthfeetstore.com was born in a garage in San Diego, California with the mission of providing a broad selection of “Doctor recommended orthopedic, therapeutic and diabetic footwear” at EVERYDAY LOW PRICES for customers who were having difficulty locating a trusted source. After several years of running the business out of the garage, the business outgrew the home and in 2007 moved to a warehouse operation. Today, Healthy Feet Store, LLC is a rapidly growing e-commerce company based in Walpole, Massachusetts that is focused on the same mission that was born in that garage. Dr. Hurless remains the Medical Director of the company and reviews each and every brand that is added to the website.
